Directions for Use
Adults 18 years of age and over: Take 1 tablet daily for at least 7 days and up to 14 days. Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food. Do not crush or chew Nolvadex. It is best to start Nolvadex at the first sign of any symptoms, and continue at a steady dose for the full course of treatment. Do not take Nolvadex for more than 3 days or more often than 4 days without your doctor’s advice. Nolvadex may be taken with or without food. However, to avoid forgetting the dose, take the medicine as soon as you remember. Do not take any more than the prescribed dose. Nolvadex may cause vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain or nausea; headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting; or if you feel lightheaded, remove the Nolvadex and go to the toilet. You must use a spacer device to prevent getting trapped in the tablet. If you get trapped in the tablet, use a sponge to release the tablet slowly. Do not use a constricting band on the tablet. If you have any questions about using Nolvadex with sphincters, consult your doctor. Nolvadex is for use by women only. Please read the labels, package insert and dosing instructions carefully. If you have any side effects, such as breast pain or tenderness, or if you have trouble sleeping, consult your doctor. Missed dose: Do not take a double dose to make up for a missing dose. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an increased risk of breast cancer, or if you have any problems with your breasts, contact your doctor.
